Nintendo confirmed today that it would be hosting a huge Direct announcement tomorrow, May 29, 2025. As expected, the announcement tweet did not come with specific details on what players should look forward to in the presentation. However,Nintendo did reveal that it will focus the 50-minute long DirectonSuper Smash Bros. Ultimateand several upcoming Switch games slated to release in the first half of 2021.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Given thatSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatewas mentioned in Nintendo’s tweet, it is nearly guaranteed that a good chunk of the Direct presentation will be dedicated to the fighting game. However, what exactly Nintendo plans to reveal aboutSuper Smash Bros. Ultimateremains to be seen, though it will likely be the next DLC fighter. It is worth remembering that theSuper Smash Bros. For several months now, rumors and speculation on which character would appear in the game have been rampant online, so fans would have to watch the presentation to know more.

It is worth remembering thatBreath of the Wild 2was first announced at E3 2019, though Nintendo has remained mostly silent on the game’s development since. At the moment, Nintendo’s 2021 release schedule has been mostly unknown at this point, which is strange given that both Sony and Microsoft have already revealed some of its lineup of games for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
