Fallout 76, like its many predecessors in theFalloutseries, has a considerable cast of enemies for the vault dweller to contend with. The game’s Feral Ghouls and Alpha Deathclaws provide the kind of predictable terror that comes with years radiation and mutation. InFallout 76,enemies of flesh and blood lack the intelligence to pose a real threat. The real danger, one could argue, comes from the cold, calculating minds of enemies like theSentry Bot, who sits near the top of the killer-robot food chain.
Sentry Botsare one of the most formidable enemies inFallout 76,especially when encountered early in the game. Players looking for high-level loot, or simply a high-level challenge, will choose to seek and destroy every individual Sentry Bot in the game. However, theworld ofFO76is massive, and this robotic enemy is elusive. This guide will attempt to solve that problem, providing the current locations ofall Sentry Bots inFallout 76.
When sharing information onhow to find all Sentry Bots inFallout 76, it is important to remember that the game is not static. It is constantly in flux, with past and current events cycling in and out of rotation, and new content released regularly. This guide will strive to always have current, up-to-date information on the location of all Sentry Bots.
All Sentry Bot Locations in Fallout 76
There are currently five knownlocations inFallout 76where Sentry Bots are known to spawn– and respawn. There are other locations where players may encounter them randomly, but this list includes only guaranteed locations.
1. The Wayward Sentry Bot
Bessie the Sentry Botis found atThe Wayward, one of the first locations players will visit inFallout 76.Bessie is just one of a considerable amount of peaceful robots. However, this beingFallout, players are free to break bad and bring the fight to peaceful Bessie.
The Wayward is found near the western edge of the map, right in the center between the northern and southern areas. Players will likely know where it is, as it plays a ket role in the easliest missions in the game, like ‘Wayward Souls.’ Bessie is found out front of the bar, in a Brahmin pen.
2. Battle Bots Event
TheBattle Bots eventis one of the best ways to get a guaranteed Sentry Bot encounter inFallout 76.This event takes place near theMount Blair Trainyardin the southwestern corner of the map. While there isn’t currently a set time for the event, the best way to trigger this event is to fast-travel to the Mount Blair Trainyard immediately upon entering a new game world.
Mount Blair Trainyard is located in theAsh Heap.It is just south of the large bunker depicted on the map.
3. The Whitespring North Entrance and The Whitespring Resort Sentry Bots
Twopeaceful Sentry Botscan be found outside the grounds ofThe Whitespring. The exact locations are marked as The Whitespring North Entrance andThe Whitespring Resorton the map. This Sentry Bot acts as protector to the inhabitants of The Whitespring, many of which are Responders.
The Whitespring North Entrance is found south of the Top of the World, and slightly northeast of the Uncanny Caverns. The area is far more dangerous than the western region of the map, so verify you are fully prepared before heading out to take on this Sentry Bot.
There is also a Sentry Bot inside theWhitespring Bunker, which is the Appalachia headquarters for the Enclave. It is reached by followingFallout 76’s original main story.
4. Dyer Chemical Sentry Bot
ASentry Botcan be found patrolling the road that leads throughDyer Chemical. Be extremely careful when approaching this area, as it is packed with high-level enemies. They are more than capable of swarming a small group and putting an end to their Sentry Bot hunting. It is even more dangerous for solo adventerers. verify to have plenty of ammo and medical supplies before making the trip east.
Dyer Chemical is located inThe Mire.This eastern region contaains a wide array of dangerous creatures. When fast-travelling in to the POI, players will be placed to the north. Be cautious when approaching, and try not to alert all enemies at once.
This Sentry Bot is tricky, because, while it is technically always supposed to be there, it seems that several factors can affect the reality of the situation. Consider the following:
Should the player show up to Dyer Chemicaland not find the Sentry Bot, try leaving the sever and rejoining a new game world.This will usually solve the problem.
5. 98 NAR Regional Sentry Bot
There is a Sentry Bot that patrols the roads outside of98 NAR Regional, a train station in theSavage Divide. In this playthrough, the model faced was anAnnihalator Sentry Bot, which was able to kill a level 45 character with a single missle. Thus, it is a safe assumption that players should be extremely cautious when approaching this Sentry Bot. verify you havethe best weapons availableat your stage of the game.
98 Nar Regional is located just north of the Whitespring Resort. On the map, there is the clear image of railroad. Follow this path up, past the New Appalachia Central Trainyard. 98 NAR Regional is the next POI.
6. Randomly Encountered Sentry Bots
While there is no way to guarantee when it will happen, players will likely have random encounters with Sentry Bots. The above locations are the only known locations where Sentry Bots will consistantly show up and respawn regularly. Remember to switch servers often when attempting to farm parts or compelrte challegens related to Sentry Bots. If any new locations are included in the game, they will be added to this guide via update. For now, these areall the Sentry Bots inFallout 76.
