When players with the appropriate profession speak to them, the profession master will provide a dialogue option that, when selected, grants the player 5 Knowledge Points for crafting professions, or 10 knowledge points for gathering professions, as well as 25 Artisan’s Mettle–a valuable crafting material. Players can earn these bonuses as long as they have at least 25 skill in their chosen profession.
There is no quest to find these profession masters, nor any hints as to their existence beyond the NPC’s Master titles.
