Notably, the amount of Battle Bucks that is awarded for matches is contingent upon a player’s performance, and thus fans that want to maximize their rewards will need to win consistently.
The secondBattlegrounds' currency is called Golden Bucks, and it is purchased with real world money through the in-game Store. While many players will certainly prefer to avoid engaging with thesemicrotransactions, Golden Bucks provide an opportunity for fans to completely bypass the grind and unlock their desired characters almost instantaneously.
After acquiring Battle Bucks or Golden Bucks in some quantity, players are ready to exchange their currency for wrestlers, and that is done from within the Superstars section. Herewrestling fanswill find visual representations of all of the characters in the game, and the wrestlers that appear to be packed in plastic are the ones that have not yet been obtained. Selecting these wrapped wrestlers will provide players with information on how much they cost, in both of the available currencies, and start the purchasing process.
To note, developer Saber Interactive has confirmed numerouspost-launch characters forWWE 2K Battlegrounds, which means that players have plenty to look forward to after they unlock all of the wrestlers that are currently available.
