To celebrate the release of Marvel Studios’Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Microsoft is giving away a customShang-Chi-themedXbox Series Xconsole and controller in a sweepstake. Taking place on Twitter, the sweepstake can be entered by anyone with an account as long as they’re willing to like and retweet a post by Xbox.

Announced on Xbox Wire, the winner of the giveaway not only gets aShang-Chi-themed Xbox Series X and controller, but they also will receivea Shang-Chi action figureand a 12-month voucher for Xbox Game Pass. The console in question is pretty unique and showcases theShang-Chilogo, but the real star of the show is the custom controller.

The center of the custom controller looks similar to the typical black Xbox Series X controller, however, its grips are covered in orange and red scales that arereminiscent of Shang-Chi’s costumein the film. Based on the photo available, the typical sleek black look of both the controller and console might be changed up for the custom paint jobs as they seem to both have a grey-looking dust pattern on them giving each a unique look.

The placement of theShang-Chilogo might be a little awkward for the winner depending on how they have the console oriented once it’s set up. As the Ten Rings symbol spans both the front and side of the Xbox and theShang-Chilogo itself is on the side, it might be best to keep it upright. While perhaps not Microsoft’sbest custom console, it certainly seems like it’ll be an exciting addition to whoever wins' media center, especially if they’re an MCU fan.

Microsoft isn’t a stranger to releasing custom versions of their consoles. Earlier this year, the company did a similar giveaway with a customPsychonauts 2-themed Series X and just last week revealedthe limited editionHalo Infinitecustom Xbox Series X and controller.

Although many of the custom Xbox’s that Microsoft has been giving away are only available through giveaways, the company has still shown that it’s willing to join its fans in making custom pieces of video game hardware. Withthe revamp of the Xbox Design Lab, it seems like the Xbox Series X/S might be the most customizable generation of Xbox consoles yet and Microsoft itself is getting in on it. If the company is willing to branch out and do film crossovers like withShang-Chi, who knows what other custom options are in store for the console’s future.
