OneZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer manages to reach the game’s highest point using a custom vehicle, only to see things go very wrong, very quickly. WithTears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has provided players with a wealth of tools to really push creativity.Replacing the old Sheikah Slate skills with new abilities like Ultrahand, players are free to essentially tackle challenges in however they best see fit. Naturally, this has led to plenty of videos and social media posts sharing unique solutions and wild builds.
In the first week alone, players started showing off all sorts of crazy inventions including a fully functioning mech. WhileZeldaplayers also found new ways to torment Koroks, much of the creativity has been centered around exploration. WhileTears of the Kingdomuses plenty of the oldBreath of the Wildmap, the game has expanded vertically as well, adding in sky island to explore as well as the expansive underground Depths. In order to navigate and chart these new regions, players have created some impressive vehicles, though on occasion, things don’t always go according to plan.

On accidental mishap comes from aymbatou on theTears of the KingdomsubReddit. The user showcases a short video of them attempting to reach the highest point in the game, the Star Island above Lookout Landing. Utilizing a 3 fan hover bike, aymbatou manages to reach their destination after around 30 minutes of failed attempts. However, the triumphant moment quickly turns sour when they landed onto the island and the force of the bike hitting the ground pushes Link off the side into a free fall. Adding insult to injury, when they opened the paraglider, the hover bike came crashing down on top of Link.
While some of the comments had a good laugh at their misfortune, others offered some helpful tips for when situations like this come up. One user mentioned that the player could have used a floating Zonai platform shot from their bow to stop the fall. After landing on it, attach vertical rockets to regain the lost height. Others wondered why put so much effort into getting to that island as theAncient Text slab for theTears of the Kingdomside questhad already fallen down to Lookout Landing.
Some of the creativity and experimentation has led to other discoveries, ones that Nintendo has not probably been too thrilled about.Tears of the Kingdomhas seen numerous duplication glitchessince the game’s launch, many of which have already been patched out. However, players continue to discover new methods, with a new one allowing players to make tons of money fast using the Fuse ability and freezing meat.
